In case you are trying to set up more than 25 funnels using Monk, you might be getting the below error:

This is because the offers created via Monk are Automatic discounts in Shopify, whenever a new discounted funnel is created. For example, a Free Gift Auto Add offer has been created in Monk as shown below -

If you go to Shopify 'Discounts' section, the offer will be saved as Automatic -

Shopify has a limitation where a store can have a maximum of 25 Automatic discounts (including the discounts from Shopify/Monk/any other third party app). This number can be even lesser depending on the discounts created by you outside the app (in Shopify or through any other third party apps). Since this is a limitation from Shopify's end, either you will have to remove some Automatic discounts from your end, or we can migrate the store to 'discount code' version of the app.

What does the Discount code version of Monk entail?

The Discount code version of Monk creates individual discount codes for each offer inside the app instead of automatic discounts. While, this lets you create as many offers as required, there might be some limitations that shall be faced -

• When a store is on the Automatic method for discounting, the discounted price display in cart will be taken care by Shopify, due to which the display of the pricing will be correct. When it comes to Discount code version, the price display may not always show correctly. In that case, you can always reach to Monk support and we can get it fixed on our end.
• The discount code itself may not be visible in cart depending upon the theme you're using
• The discount code may not get applied automatically in a few cases specifically if a customer is on a slow or unstable internet connection
• There might be inconsistencies with the display of the discount code in terms of color, background in the cart (i.e., it might not be compatible with the store's display)
