How to set it up?
Let's assume you want to configure a Progress Bar at checkout using Monk. Please follow these steps:
The main steps are same across all types of offers with some variations based on what you're looking to setup
- An app block needs to be added at checkout in your Online Store. Go to Online Store > Themes > Customize
- In your theme editor, navigate to Checkout > Add app block & add the 'Progress bar' block.
Combinations
If you want to display multiple offers of the same type at checkout (example - 2 checkout cross sells or 2 free gift selection offers) you will have to enable combinations setting in your offers on Step 1. Please refer to this article to know more.
The above article is relevant only if you've configured multiple offers of the exact same type.
Multiple offers of different types (example - 1 checkout cross sell, 1 progress bar etc) will work automatically.
Frequently Asked Questions
1) If the customer deletes the discount, the free products should be auto removed from checkout - is it possible?
There is no direct way to automatically remove the products from the customer's cart when they remove the discount. This is a Shopify related limitation which cannot be fixed by us. You can add a product add/ remove button app block on the checkout which would give the customer an option to remove the product when it is charged at full price after the discount is removed.
